Stress
is a necessary part of life. It is what stimulates us to perform,
whether that be to run a marathon or get that report out on time.
However we know that maintaining these levels for prolonged periods is
devastating on the body. Our performance is hampered and our health
suffers long term. Ongoing stress affects our immune system, and can
lead to long term problems like stomach and heart disease as well as
muscle tension, O O S, migraine, and a weakened ability to deal with
relationships of all kinds.
There
are various techniques that you can learn to help you alleviate stress,
relieve pain, and balance health, both for instant
relief
and
as a
protection
for the future.
As well as clearer mental ability and improved interpersonal
relationships, these techniques cause physiological changes in the
body. Studies consistently show that regular practitioners
–when
compared with control groups– need much less medical or
hospital
treatment. In a couple of minutes you will be able to lower your blood
pressure and heart-rate, release a head-ache and free your mind to
think clearly. Tasks are accomplished more easily; you become calm,
focused, and refreshed. Find the techniques that will work for you!
For the Corporate
sector
or other groups, a three
session course of basic relaxation techniques is available
on request, in your work-place.
Next courses start:

Testimonials:
"In all my years of attending workshops and seminars all over the world, I found the seminar delivered by Camilla to be among the very best. Not only did I learn some very useful and practical strategies which I can put into action right away, I was also inspired by Camilla's presentation style which I found honest, engaging, and refreshing.
Camilla is an expert in her field and I would encourage people from all walks of life to take the opportunity to attend her "Understanding, and Healing, Stress, Anxiety and Depression" seminar. In particular, the seminar is ideal for parents who want practical ideas in helping their children to achieve their full potential in life."

"I'm
a busy health professional also doing concurrent research for my
PhD. My
mind is constantly racing trying to keep everything in order and, by
the end of
the day, the space in my head sounds like a crowded cafeteria.
Camilla's
class taught me strategies for finding and maintaining internal peace
and
relaxation. In short, she helped me find the "off switch" for my brain!"

Mums
In The City lecture
Our event ‘Meditation for
Mums’ was perfect for any
woman who –
-
Has ever cried on
the kitchen floor, while getting a good view of what’s under the
fridge
-
Has ever wanted to
tell her whole family to frig off, but come
back with a 6-pack of Mini Magnums if you happen to be passing the shops
-
Has ever wanted to
leave Mickey Mouse DVD on repeat play and creep
off to a spa for a couple of hours
But since none of us really know
how to work the DVD
player and we really do want the best for ourselves and our kids , this
seminar
was all about how to cope when the journey of motherhood seems long and
arduous. Camilla Watson is a registered ‘Heal your
life’
practitioner and it’s easy to see why she’s won awards for
‘Outstanding Adult
Educator’. We started the seminar
talking about worry and fear.
Camilla explained how the stress and anxiety of motherhood impacts on
our body.
Camilla showed us basic breathing exercises to use when irritation and
anger
start to build up and how improving our breathing also aids our
digestion and
overall fitness. We also talked about anger and how mothers often
feel
they have drawn the short straw. Between parents, there is often a
great divide
with regards invasion of personal space, childcare, home duties, mental
stimulation, socialising and not to mention, payment and reward for a
hard
day’s work. Camilla explained that
life
for mums is often unfair but it’s the positive ways we seek
support which can
help with the resulting irritations and stress. By that, I believe
Camilla was
referring to the upcoming Mums In The City Scrabble Tournament.
"Having
completed Camilla’s meditation and sixth sense courses and having
a few private
sessions with her, I have found Camilla excellent to learn from as she
“keeps
it real”. The courses have been
excellent in confirming different things I have experienced, and the
meditation
has certainly helped me to get some order in my life and to get a feel
of what
works best for me. It has been, and will
continue to be a huge journey and I feel privileged to have had access
to Camilla’s knowledge, teachings and guidance!!! "
