I have always
loved textiles, the feel of fabrics, the vibrant colours, so after
years of hand crafts, home sewing and creating one-off items for family
I was finally led to the area of quilting and fabric. I find this
medium meets all my creative needs as I can produce an original,
interesting or fun item quickly if required or produce a work of art -
however the mood or requirement takes me. I long to have the time to
work through the progression of a series but at the moment I have too
many ideas and new techniques to explore!
I currently teach classes in 'Vines
'n More - Needleturn Hand Applique', 'Scandalously Simple Squares', a
quick piecing method, 'Elemental Art
Quilts' and Machine
Applique. Commissioned works are also available.
Please contact me if
you would like further information on these or any of the quilts
available for sale.
Camilla has recently
featured in the 'IQA Journal' of the International Quilt Assn, as
'International Spotlight', Spring 2010. www.quilts.org/journal
